Ohio Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights

Leave No Child Inside and the State of Ohio teamed up on the Ohio Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights. Please take the time to read them, as they were written both to empower and inspire.

Gov. Ted Strickland signed a proclamation supporting the Bill of Rights in September 2010.

  1. How would I go about getting the city of Mansfield to be supportive and get more involved with the Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights? The Mansfield City School District would also like to be more involved in the effort, perhaps dedicating an entire school building and a staff of teachers to the effort of quality Outdoor Education for K-6.

    I am currently teaching in Mansfield City Schools Outdoor Education Program.
